The United Nations Refugee Agency website includes a section for teachers, providing teaching tools and resources for educators to raise awareness of refugee issues in their classroom, and teach concepts of diversity, respect, understanding and tolerance.

Of note is the online game “against all odds” which has been designed for players to learn what it is like to be a refugee through a guided series of short challenges showcasing the dangers and difficulties common to the refugee experience.

Also included is a list of resources for incorporating refugee awareness activities into classroom curriculum.
